The current political culture in U.S. is polarized. The big two political parties are dissimilar.
The Senate and the House of Representative is not in unisom. The political parties in both houses are not able to agree while making decisions like in legislation.
Though, the Democrats are expected to support the current president decisions, there are Democrats members in both houses who side with the Republicans or with their own stand.
On the other hand, more of the citizens are becoming more liberal. This is witnessed by the number of Americans now condemning racism and police brutality. Think of the protests that have been going on in the nation. Citizens from all backgrounds are participating in them (Durkee, 2021).
