3 Basic Features of a Good Smartphone

I have met people with 'big' smartphones but they are useless. They do not serve them as they intended. There are people with smartphones but they cannot install basic apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Lite among others. Others cannot store data like music, videos, documents and so forth on their smartphones. If a smartphone does not serve its owner the way he or she likes, then it has a problem or the owner bought something he or she was not aware of. Also, smartphone dealers at times sell wrong products to naive buyers.

Inexperienced buyers are the ones who look for smartphone size, camera resolution, SIM cards it can accommodate, indicated storage and brand labels. They forget size has nothing to do with smartphone performance and smartphone camera can shoot great photos and videos but other functions may be worse. Nowadays, it is possible to find smartphones with non-existence storage. That is why you meet people with smartphones with 8 GB storage but cannot store even a single mp3 song. Also, we have so many smartphones in the market that are just imitations of great brands like Oppo, Infinix, Techno, Samsung, Itel, among others.

Here are the 3 basic things to look for when buying a good smartphone;

Battery capacity; Battery life is important in a smartphone. We have people whose smartphones dies after some minutes. The problem is with their battery capacity and what they do with it. Battery capacity is measured by mAh (miliampere-hours). A best smartphone need to be not less than 3500mAh. But, we have people with smartphones with as low as 1700mAh and they use them to play games and run other applications. Such a smartphone cannot run for hours before it goes off. This feature is important in that even smartphone sellers play with it. If you do not have enough cash to buy the smartphone you want they will give you another smartphone with features you want but with a lower mAh.

Internal memory: Smartphone internal memory determines the applications you can install and how slow your device will be. For people who are fond of playing games on the smartphones using a smartphone with a 1 GB RAM is the same as dropping the phone on the ground; it will break. A smartphone with a low RAM becomes hot after either listening to music or watching videos and playing games for a long time. That is why some people have smartphones that take long time to wake up or they display a colorless or blue screen when turned on. It is good to know that applications are installed and run on the internal memory.

Processor; this is all about the speed of your phone. A good smartphone should have a processor of more than 1.3 Ghz. You can check this on phone setting. Some smartphones are dual core, others 4 core, etc.

Other factors to look on are the brand, storage (ROM) though can be expanded with external storage, security features, design, weight, etc.
