In this website design lesson we are going to learn where to website templates and how to install them on the blogger we have created so far.
Note: We are going to use free template so that we can get the ideas and be ready to buy template we will use for long tern.
To get a website template go to Gooyaabi Templates or Btemplates. In this case I will use Gooyaabi Templates. So when I click the link https://gooyaabitemplates.com/ I am directed to the below page
On the above page you will find thousands of templates to choose from. Choose a template that suit what you want. For this case I have chosen the template named DEVA above. When I click it I am directed to the below page.
On the above page scroll down up to the point shown below.
On the above page click Live preview to see how your website will look like when you use the template you have chosen. In this case it will be as shown below.
Once you preview how your website will look like go back to the below page
On the above page click download and a zipped template will be downloaded as shown below
Go to your download folder and you will find a zipped folder named as shown below
On the above page, right click the zipped folder as shown below
On the above page click Extract to Deva free version 1.0 and you will get a folder with template ready to use as shown below
Now go to your blogger on the page below
On the above page click theme and you will see the below page
On the above page, where we have CUSTOMIZE there is a white symbol (V) click it and you will see the below menu
On the above page click Restore and you will be directed to the below page
On the above page click UPLOAD and you will be directed to the below page
On the above page open the folder named Deva Free Version 1.0 (or the folder you extracted) as shown below
On the above page click Deva free version 1.0 (XML document) and then click Open and you will be directed to the below page
On the above page wait for the theme to be restored. When you see the message "Restored Theme" go to the below page
On the above page click view blog and you will see your blog as below
If you click the link https://learnwebdesign2022.blogspot.com it should take you to the above page.
