A Firm Hustler

A week is not gone,

Since we got a new president.

But they want me to believe them.

Why paint UDA administration as worst?

They think I am a stupid person.

But that’s a perception of insane people.

I have brains to make self-decision.

Painting UDA bad colours won’t move me.

Who told them I eat UDA?

Who told them skyrocketing taxes will affect me?

I am not a kid.

I have been in this nation for long,

And I have never slept without food.

Have I ever borrowed clothes from them?

Who among them has ever paid my bills?

I am like King David,

I can clearly tell them about God.

Though they do not know Him,

The one who gave us UDA,

Cannot forsake me.

I was young and now I am an old man,

And this God has never made me go without.

A hustler does not eat when taxes are low,

A hustler eats because of God.

The God who gives birds of the air food,

Is the same God who feeds hustlers?

When they come to paint UDA negatively to me,

It is divine knowledge they lack.

UDA is like Mt Zion,

It cannot be moved.
