A highly religious parent wakes up at 5.40am to post a prayer in a school Whatsapp group. Within 1 hour, 200 parents have responded with AMENS, some in capital letters, others in small letters, some in bold, some in itallics.
Somewhere in the forest of those AMENS, the school will post a very important and and urgent message, maybe about a student who went missing or change in opening date.
As you scroll down, you wont see the message. The school wont know you didnt.
In the midst of that confusion, one parent will propose that the group should only allow school related issues, that parents can form a separate group for prayers.
The verbal missiles that will be thrown to such parents will be in their thousands. He/she will be reminded how important God is to the children, the school and the country.
A few parents may even refer the particular parent as Devil worshipper and everything else. He will be reminded the school is founded on christian values.........
And just like that, the original intent of the group will be lost.
