Do Not Marry a Person Your Parent Dislikes

Do Not Marry a Person Your Parent Dislikes

Isaac said to Jacob, "Don't take a Canaanite wife."

Isaac was the father of Jacob.

Isaac had a long history of Canaanite women. He was aware about their lives, and how those who married them ended.

He did want his son to fall to their trap.

He guided his son where to get a good wife. He even sent him to a specific place where he could not get  Canaanite women.

Jacob obeyed his father.

Now, do your parent guide you who not to marry?

When they tell you who not to marry do you obey them?

Parents have define knowledge. They see end at them beginning.

They know a marriage which is beneficial to their children..

They know partners who suits their children.

When your parent say, " No, to a certain family."

They know what you do not know and they do not want you to fall in trouble.

When they discourage you from being in a relationship with beer and cigar lovers, they are keeping you from pain.

When they tell you to leave a certain girl or man, they are saving you from Delilah.

Young men and women who do not hear their parent marriage counsel at the end of the day they cry and make their parent cry.

Esau, the brother of Jacob married Canaanite women. The ones his father disliked.

The Canaanite wives of Esau became source of pain to Isaac and Rebecca, the parent of Esau.

If you want your spouse to make life of your parent bitter, marry the person they tell you not to marry.
