Go to WhatsApp Web on your computer or laptop using the link https://web.whatsapp.com/ as shown below
Then go to your WhatsApp on your mobile phone as shown below

One the QR code is detected by your smartphone you will be directed to the below page
On the above menu they tap the box on the Desktop site (once this box is tapped it makes the smartphone to appear like a desktop computer or laptop screen) that direct them to the below page.
Then they ask the person they want to monitor his or her WhatsApp communications to help them with their smartphone. They go straight to the WhatsApp of the person they want to track his or her chats and they scan the code above. Then they return the phone (this is something that can be done with less than a minute).
On the above page tap the 3 dots on the upper right as shown below
On the above page tap Linked devices and you will be directed to the page below
On the above page tap LINK A DEVICE and you will be directed to the below page

Once the computer or laptop finishes to organize your WhatsApp message you will be directed to the below page
