Responsibilities of a Class Teacher
1. You are directly responsible for your class organisation at all times. That is:1) Cleanliness of pupils and the classroom
2) Sitting arrangement
3) Furniture and panel breakages care
4) Class timetables availability
5) Peer teaching schedules during preps
6) English speaking follow up.
7) Covering of all issued textbooks.
8) Following up lost text books until they are replaced.
9) Setting class targets each term and forwarding copies to the senior teacher.
10) Curbing absenteeism in your class.
11) Daily update of registers
12) Availing class rules through pupil’s participation.
Responsibilities of all Teachers
1) Attendance of Monday, Wenesday and Friday assembly
2) Checking pupils’ cleanliness during assembly time.
3) Arriving at school before 8:am and leaving not before 4:30pm.
4) Attending all lessons assigned without fail.
5) Recovering lost lessons when one was absent
6) Marking pupil books and assigning homework
7) Following pupils class issues to conclusion.
