Managerial accounting

The information contained in the financial accounting is majorly for external users and it is historical (what the entity has been able to achieve), I think managers will have very little interest of where they have come from and therefore, they cannot depend on financial statements.

The success of a company depends on the projections that managers set. It is these projections that help an entity to measure where it wants to be at the end of a given financial year, without managerial accounting workplaces would not have targets to achieve and therefore no worthy financial decisions can be made. An entity cannot have a competitive advantage without managerial accounting.
