Business communication and executive presence

Good morning and welcome to our talk tonight. I am Martin. Today I would like to talk about a business leader who exhibits executive presence and my heart goes for Queen Latifah’s. We make communications every day, but the impact of our communications differ and make the whole difference.

In business communications and executive presence, I have much admiration for queen Latifah. She never disappoints when it comes to exhibiting executive presence. Whenever she is talking or hosting a talk show, queen Latifah exudes a high level of confidence that is just rare to find.

By watching her speak on any given subject; one would think that she knows everything that goes on under the sun. Yet, the secret is hidden in her confidence. However, a closer view of her clips on YouTube demonstrates that queen Latifah has been cultivating her self-confidence since she was a child, and she strives all she can to maintain it.

Positivity is one of the things that appeal to me in Latifah’s executive presence. Being positive makes Latifah even more attractive. She observes that putting other people down is not part of her. Latifah often says that giving positive comments about people can go a long way in making their day.

Even if there are a hundred reasons to be negative, one should look for one reason to be positive. Queen Latifah simply sees the best in people. Secondly, Queen Latifah’s tone is friendly, moderately pitched and sounds confident. She has mastered the art of public speaking and minds her pitch to suit the occasion.

Finally, queen Latifah’s dress code never disappoints. She is always elegant looking and the physical appearance communicates about her executive presence.

My leadership compares to that of queen Latifah in that we see the positive in people. Being good and nice to people can go a long way in enhancing their confidence, productivity and eventual workplace performance.
