The Las Vegas shooting was carried out by a lone wolf. This means Stephen Paddock the perpetrator of the shooting carried out the activity without help of any group like ISIS. Such a terrorist is hard to detect because security agencies cannot trace any security threat communication (History.com Editors, 2020).
While, the Nevada shooting crime was the work of Paddock alone, the Texas church shooting was Devin work but the government had a hand in it. This is because the government did not enter the lone wolf, Devin, crime data on the database of people who buy weapons. Devin like Stephen Paddock did not involve an outside in his attacks (Stempel J, 2021).
Unlike the shooting in Las Vegas and Nevada that had concrete reasons of why it happened, the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh were motivated by hatred. Robert Bowers, the lone wolf, did it because of the hate he had with Jewish. He had posted it online but he was discovered when it was too late (Pengelly M, 2018).
