BY LAWS 2024
1. Every member will be registered with Kshs 100 which is nonrefundable.
2. a. Contribution will always be forwarded to Secretary on 7th of every month.
b. A fine of Kshs 100/= will be paid by a member who pays later than 7th of every month
c. A fine of Kshs 100/= will, be paid by a member who pays late 10th of every month
3. Members will meet after four months
a. A fine of kshs 100/= will be paid by any member who misses the meeting.
b. Any member who misses three meetings consecutively will be ceased from the group.
4. After three months, if a member has not been contributing his / her fate shall be discussed in a General meeting and make final decision.
a. 10% of his/her contributions will be deducted from his/her amount.
5. A member wishing to withdraw from the group shall be required to give a three months’ notice and wait for general meeting.
a. Only monthly contribution will be refunded.
b. 10% of his/her contributions will be deducted from his amount
c. Any member who withdraws from the group shall sign a withdrawal form.
d. No Interests or benefits will be paid by the group if one withdraws from the group
e. The value of the assets will be calculated according to the cost of the time when one is withdrawing or ceased to be a member.
f. 10% will also deducted from his /her amount in the assets.
g. One will wait until the assets are sold.
h. One must have no debt in monthly contribution
6. The committee will meet twice in the three months duration before the members meet. The members are free to meet if there is an urgent issue to discuss.
7. In case of urgency the committee may call an urgent meeting for members before the four months.
8. All members shall respect one another.
9. Matters of the group shall be kept within the group, if one found a penalty of kshs 5,000/=.
10. Each member shall be required to have a copy of list of all members, a copy of By-laws and after reading be returned to the custody of the group.
11. Elections shall be held annually.
12. Drunkenness and other intoxication drugs shall not be condemned during the meetings.
13. Politics shall not be entertained in the group.
14. Members shall authorize withdrawal of the group money.
15. No more members will join the group.
16. a. DEATH for members (contributions) and immediate family each members shall contribute Kshs (350/-) children are limited to 18 years.
b. Parents of both sides are also covered under sympathy contributions which shall be Kshs 175/=
17. HOSPITAL BILL
a. Contributor who has a hospital bill of Kshs 30,000/= In Government Hospital or Kshs 90,000/= in Private Hospital and over, will be helped by the members with Kshs 350/= each. These covers members and immediate family.
b. Sympathy contribution of Kshs 175/= will be contributed for a members mother, father and in laws.
