1. Starting a Presentation
Slides: A slide is the basic building block of a presentation.
Slide Layouts: Choose from various pre-set layouts (Title Slide, Title & Content, etc.).
2. Inserting Elements
Images: Insert > Pictures to add images from your computer.
Shapes: Insert > Shapes to draw various shapes.
Charts & Graphs: Insert > Chart to include data visualization.
Media: Insert > Audio or Video to embed media files.
3. Formatting
Slide Design: Design > Themes to choose preset designs.
Slide Background: Design > Format Background to customize colors or add images.
4. Transitions and Animations
Animations: Effects applied to objects within a slide (Animations tab).
Timing: Set the timing of transitions and animations under the Animation Pane.
5. Slide Show
Slide Navigation: Use arrow keys to move between slides.
Rehearse Timings: Slide Show > Rehearse Timings to practice your presentation with timings.
6. Saving and Exporting
Export as PDF: File > Export > Create PDF to share as a document.
Sharing Online: Use PowerPoint Online or SharePoint to collaborate.
7. Useful Shortcuts
Ctrl + D: Duplicate a selected slide or object.
Ctrl + K: Insert a hyperlink.
Ctrl + S: Save the presentation.
F5: Start the presentation from the beginning.

Open PowerPoint: Choose a blank presentation or a template.
