A Healed Heart

A young lady went back home from work,
But her heart was heavy.
Her whole body was drained.
Not because of tiring work in her office,
But because she was not doing well in life.

But who told her she was not doing well in life?
It was her mind.
Wait,
But who corrupted it?
Social media.

Whenever that lady went to Facebook,
Her heart was left in agony.
All her college mates were flossing with vehicles,
What killed her heart completely was Kelly,
Kelly did not even finish class eight,
But on Facebook she had Honda Fit.

When our president was sworn in,
The following weekend that lady did not sleep,
All her friends were on WhatsApp status,
This round with the dress the first lady was wearing,
I mean the dress she wore during the swearing in ceremony.

Whenever a pastor would talk of a cursed person,
That lady would think she is the one talked of.
When an alter call would be made,
She would be the first one to kneel on the alter,
And not just kneeling but also crying.

Then comes a day,
When that lady meets Kelly in person,
Kelly does not own anything,
She is a cleaner in a posh hotel.
But, a senior officer on Facebook.

Then comes the Christmas holiday,
The hubby of that lady decides to spend it in their village,
I mean the village of that lady.
That lady was not happy with that decision,
But, she went with a broken heart.

If you think angelic visitation is about white clothes,
Forget about it.
That holiday was powerful than angel Gabriel visitation.
It was at that time that lady was mentally healed.
She was set free and free indeed.

That lady met her social media friends back in their village,
She found they had no vehicles.
They had no classy homes.
Their real children were in the village and malnourished.
In fact, they were house helps or mama fua in town.
