Author’s Note
When I began writing Salvation Is Not a Shield, I wanted to speak to the heart of every believer who silently wonder why life hurts even after choosing to follow Christ. I wanted to remind you that faith is not an escape from fire but a power to walk through it. The message of this book was born out of reflection and real experiences that have taught me one timeless truth: salvation doesn’t make life easy — it makes it meaningful.
We live in a world where many think faith guarantees comfort, but the true work of God often takes place in discomfort. The fruits of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control — are not grown in calm weather but in storms. Every trial that shakes you is shaping you into someone who reflects God’s glory.
If you are reading this in the middle of your own fire, I want you to know you are not forgotten. God’s silence is not His absence. His delay is not denial. He is refining you, not rejecting you. You will come out stronger, softer, and more radiant than before.
May this book encourage you to see your pain through heaven’s eyes — as a tool of transformation, not destruction. May you find strength to stand, peace to wait, and courage to keep walking. And when the story of your life is told, may the world see God through you — shining in the light of victory that follows every trial.
