Below was my last payslip before I quit white collar employment, that was in 2017.
I sat on my work desk and asked myself, "surely, what am I doing here? and I can get this money in other easier hustles?"
I think my brain were asleep for the last 3 years since being employed.
To get this pay I had to report to work from 7am to almost 7pm.
I wont mention about targets and 'makele mingi".
That is not the point.
I know even after 5 years, nothing much has changed to those I left.
How can one live in an urban area with 23,300/=, being honest and with integrity?
Where one bedroom house is more than ksh10,000/=.
That means your money is ksh13,300/=.
Then, Kenya Kwanza government want to get inside such a payslip?
