Military leadership is not an easy feat. Those who are entrusted with it must be true to themselves and to their subordinates.
It is good to know that military leadership reflects their units. If integrity is not in them the officers under them will not have it and the public will lose trust with the whole unit.
Once the trust is gone bringing it back is not an easy task. It is true that subordinates follow what their seniors are doing, both in private and public organizations and military is not an option.
If military leaders accept to corrupted with funds, sex, gifts and other unethical special treatments, the officers on the ground will do the worse. The whole organization will be marred with scandals whose initiators are the people at the helm of the unit. The military leadership need to guard its reputation, respect and trust at all cost.
