The political polarization in the nation is beyond political parties. Americans are divided on matters of running the economy, climatic change, racial justice, law enforcement, among other issues of interest (DIMOCK, 2020).
But, it seems American might be united one day. Think of the #Blacklivesmatters protests. Nearly all Americans were in support of these protests that were condemning police brutality.
Can we as a nation come together as we did on other issues? Can we put our political ideologies aside and reason together as Americans?
If we continue with the current trend we might find the nation being torn into pieces. The Brexit can also occur in America.
