Most of discriminations that occur in workplaces are understated in a way. This is because they seem to be harmless.
For example, think of a team assigned a specific project. If the team for instance discriminate some of its members because they are female by not engaging them too much, such a discrimination cannot be visible in terms of EEOC guidelines.
But, discrimination no matter how small it is it can make an organization to incur huge costs not only in fixing torn image, reputation, legal cases but also in replacing employees who leave because of experiencing discrimination.
I think a code of conduct can prevent some of discriminations in workplaces like manager skin-color jokes.
Remote work
It is true remote work is here to stay. Remote work can cut organization expenses as well as increase employee productivity. But on the other hand remote work has a myriad of challenges.

Employee tracking software’s that are used by organization can affect the morale of employees. This is because employees might think the employer is having no trust with them and that is the reason of monitoring them throughout. This can lower employee’s morale and confidence with the employer.
Two, working at home makes employees not leave work even after working hours (Lucanus, 2021). Though, this may be good for the employer in the short run, working for long hours may worsen the health of employees. This can lead to an increase in medical costs or employees may fail to work from home due to poor health.
