Although, organization should study why employees leave I think, organizations also need to understand why some employees stay.
Early turnover is the departure of recently hired employee within a firm.
The reason for leaving the organization may not be the same as for staying. Some best talents may be leaving due to lack of an opportunity to develop career wise. While, some employees may be tied in the organization because of compensation benefits or lack of academic certificates to move to other organizations (Flowers, 1973).
For example, there was an organization I used to work for and many employees had no university education and thus could not move from that firm because they had no education certificates that other employers sought for.
Understanding what makes employees stay in an organization can help a firm when hiring new employees. This aspect can be used when looking for organizational cultural fit.

Also, if the firm realizes employees are tied in the firm due to compensation and other benefits it may review its benefits. It is not all the time employees who stay in the firm are productive. At times a low turnover rate may not be good for the financial wellness of a firm.
