BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Young Elite FC began in 2020 as a football weekend outreach program at Murengeti Primary School compound.
1. NAME & LOCATION
· The name of the football club shall be Young Elite FC abbreviated as ‘YEFC’
· The registered office of the club shall be situated at Murengeti, in Limuru Constituency.
2. VISION, MISSION,CORE VALUES , GOALS & OBJECTIVES
2.1. VISION
To see a safe, inclusive and fun space that has a positive impact on young people, their families and communities.
2.2. MISSION
To provide opportunities for young people of all abilities to lead a healthier and more active lifestyle and improve their physical , mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.

2.4. GOALS
1. Encourage a healthy and active lifestyle among young people.
2. Create a passion for ative recreation and sports.
3. Serve the greatest needs of vulnerable young people and share a message of hope through sport and play.
2.5. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. To partner with schools, FBOs , NGOs , governmental agencies and other partners in nurturing young people.
2. To advocate for inclusive communities through sport and play.
3. To organize sports outreach events with the aim of identifying talents, mentoring and support.
2.6. PROGRAMMES
1. Whole Life Coaching Program - Targets ‘fatherless’ boys ages 5-17 yrs.
2. She In Sports Program - Aims at promoting girls participation in sports.
3. All Ability Sport Program – Inclusion of young people with disabilities in sport and play.

3. MEMBERSHIP
· Membership at Young Elite FC shall be free to all young people aged 15 yrs and above, their parents / guardians and Coaches and shall draw its membership from the local communities living within Limuru Sub County.
· Membership shall be open to all irrespective of race, colour and creed , who accept the principles, policies and programmes and are ready to abide by this constitution and rules.
· Parents / Guardians shall sign a consent form for their children and teens to qualify for membership at the club.
4. BOARD MEMBERS
ü The Board of Young Elite FC shall consist of posts of Chairperson , Secretary and Treasurer. The board shall be the policy making organ of the club. The minimum number of the board members shall be three (3) while the maximum shall be five (5) and may be amended from time to time as the need arise.
ü The board shall manage the day to day affairs of the club, represent and act on behalf of the club generally, do all such acts as may seem necessary for the efficient running of the club and keep a complete and up-to date record of the club’s affairs.
5. OFFICE BEARERS
5.1. DUTIES OF OFFICE BEARERS
The Chairperson shall but not limited to;
1. Shall convene and preside over all the meetings at he club.
2. Provide general guidelines related to the affairs of the club.
3. Shall be official spokesperson of the club and shall be in-charge of all official links with other partners.
4. Shall lead to the development of the club and resource mobilization.
The Vice/ Deputy Chairperson shall;
1. Perform all the functions of the chairperson of the club in his /her absence.
The Secretary shall;
1. Keep a full, complete and up to date record of the club’s affairs.
2. Keep minutes of all the meetings
3. Carry out all correspondence and publicity on behalf of the club.
4. Arrange for meetings in consultation with the Chairperson.
The Vice / Deputy Secretary shall;
1. Shall deputize the secretary
2. Assume all the duties and responsibilities of the secretary in his/her absentia.
The Treasurer shall;
1. In general ensure that proper accounting procedures are adhered to.
2. Keep proper books of accounts.
3. Provide reports on the financial statement.
6. FINANCES AND ACCOUNTS
6.1. Finances
Young Elite FC shall be funded as follows;
a). Donations
b). Gifts, freewill giving and in kind
c). Members and friends contribution
d). Any other financial contribution
6.2. Accounts
The Club upon registration shall open a bank account at Equity Bank Limuru Branch , three (3) officials to complete the transaction, that is Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.
