Author’s Note
I often sit and listen to preachers, and sometimes I quietly wonder — do they truly understand what they preach? Many speak with great passion, quoting verses and proclaiming promises, yet much of what is said remains trapped in the literal. The Word of God is not a manual for material gain or earthly comfort; it is a revelation of the Spirit.
God is Spirit, and everything He speaks is spiritual. He uses material examples — trees, rivers, bread, mountains — but His message always points beyond the visible. When we read Scripture only through the physical eye, we limit its power; but when we approach it through the Spirit, a deeper world opens.
The day we begin to understand that God’s Word is never about things, but about truths, our entire knowledge of Him shifts. We stop chasing symbols and start seeking meaning. We stop looking for material blessings and start discovering spiritual transformation. That is when the Bible becomes alive — not as a storybook, but as the voice of a living God speaking directly to the heart.
