Every database contains details, or properties, about the database.
The properties include information about the date the database was created and its author.
View common file properties in the Database Properties dialog box available via the View and edit database properties link on the Backstage view.
You can edit the properties on the Summary tab.
However, you cannot edit properties on many of the other tabs.
For example, the Size or Modified Properties on the General tab are automatically updated by the system.
How to view and edit database properties;
Click the File tab to open the Backstage view and then click the Info button.
Click the View and edit database properties link to open the Database Properties dialog box.
Click the Summary tab.
View the properties that have been entered.
Edit any desired properties.
Be sure to complete any properties required and Click OK to save and close.
