Do you know social studies?
My age mates do not know it,
Our days it was geography.
But only the name changed.
The content is the same.
Every young Kenyan knows,
The first questions of social studies are about a map.
In that map a cross is about Christianity,
A mosque is about Islam,
What about a shrine?
It is about unknown God.
And absence of a cross, mosque or shrine means paganism.
A cross, mosque or shrine recognizes a Supreme God,
Kenyans we cannot be without God,
Each tribe has its own shrine,
My people has Mukurwe wa Nyagathanga.
But the young generation is losing direction,
How can a person live without God?
Is your life like a map without a cross?
Or a mosque?
Or a shrine?
Then you are a pagan.
Who taught you that way of life?
A life without Supreme Being is not a life!
A cross, a mosque or a shrine is not about a life alone,
It should be in businesses,
That is why I am in love with Hindus.
It should be in homes,
It should be in marriages,
It should be in workplaces,
It should be everywhere.
A cross, mosque or shrine is not about religion,
It is our schools that distorted it.
It is about a life,
A life that reflects a Supreme Being.
Does your life point to a cross, mosque or shrine?
