For one to run a good cyber business he or she will require to have at least a college or university education (I will let you know why). A good computer with specifications as above costs around 12 to 15 thousands, though one can even get one with 10 thousand. A USB router goes for around 2,500/= and a universal modem is around ksh 1200/=. One can buy network cables that should not cost more than 100/= per meter with readymade clips or opt for wireless WIFI adapters that goes for around 1000/= each. When buying a printer consider an ink tank color printer that can print, scan and photocopy. An Epson printer of around 25,000/= is good. If you buy the cheap LaserJet printers that uses cartridge be prepared to spend on repairs. So with 100, 000/= one can have all that is required.
Now comes the big question, who will be running the cyber business? This is where people with facilities go wrong. If the person running the business is not a computer lover the whole investment will be a waste. The person running the cyber business should be able to train all computer packages, offer all internet based services and market the business online without a strain. A cyber that relies on browsing, printing, scanning and photocopy does not sustain itself. Creativity is required in cyber business.
